Meet our Network ambassadors at the Web Summit

Meet the businesses that received support from the Enterprise Europe Network in building habitats on the Moon, delivering drugs by drone and creating seamless hotel experiences – now at the Web Summit 2021.

Web Summit 2021

The sky is no longer the limit for Europe’s most innovative small businesses. With the help of the Enterprise Europe Network, businesses are taking flight, building a global presence, and even shooting for the Moon.

However, before they go interstellar, the entrepreneurs behind these fantastic businesses will have their feet firmly on the ground in Lisbon at Web Summit 2021.

The Enterprise Europe Network will be hosting three inspirational small businesses on their #InvestEU stand at Web Summit, which returns to the Portuguese capital from 1 to 4 November 2021.

The much-anticipated event will bring together 70,000 attendees and 500+ speakers from more than 160 countries for what has become the world’s largest tech conference.

The Enterprise Europe Network’s inspirational 'ambassadors', which have all received support from the Network to deliver their innovative, technology-based solutions, are:

This German SME, supported by the European Space Agency, is a pioneer in the field of 3D printing of metals and ceramics. The company recently won an EU grant via the Galactica project to jointly develop a 3D printing process to enable manufacturing of habitats on the Moon and parts for astronauts’ suits, using in-situ resources. The company is also developing the same concept to build emergency habitats for disaster-struck areas on Earth.

Connect Robotics is a drone delivery start-up specialising in autonomous drone navigation for Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) flights. The company focuses on the health sector, transporting medicine and blood, and works with Portugal's major laboratories and pharmaceutical distributors. The company is currently working on a new project in Belgium, using their high-precision delivery technology for navigation in urban and suburban areas.

Established in 2016, MyStay has developed a contactless solution for hotels to improve their guests’ experience. Managing multiple touchpoints from the moment a room is booked until the final checkout, the app is designed to help guests access hotel services, increase incremental revenues for the hotel, and drive positive reviews.

The #InvestEU stand will also host Enterprise Europe Network's dedicated team of business advisors who will also be available throughout the event. They are looking forward to speaking with entrepreneurs looking to innovate, digitise, and grow their businesses throughout Europe and beyond.

If entrepreneurs are unable to visit Lisbon, they can join the Enterprise Europe Network on Facebook or follow the hashtag #EENCanHelp on Twitter.
