EASME, in collaboration with the European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy, the Enterprise Europe Network and Eurochambers, is organising an interactive session at this years' EU Sustainable Energy Week.
The panel will discuss the topic of SMEs and entrepreneurs as drivers towards clean energy.
Helping businesses innovate and grow internationally
Network client Simon Forrest, CEO of Scottish company Nova Innovation will be one of the panellists. His work with the Enterprise Europe Network in Scotland has allowed this small company to develop and export its tidal technology, ahead of bigger players in the market.
Take part in a lively debate
The panel speakers will address questions such as:
- What role do SMEs play in the clean energy transition?
- Should they be supported and, if so, how?
- What are the key factors for their success in this market?
- Are big companies friends or foes?
- What are the opportunities and threats for SMEs ahead of us?
The session will take the form of a lively and interactive debate between participants and panel speakers.
