EU-Taiwan Industrial Dialogue - 26-27 June, Brussels (Belgium). The European Commission is organising industrial seminars about 5G, circular economy and the future of manufacturing on 27 June. A cross-sectoral Cluster to Cluster (C2C) matchmaking will take place throughout the event, providing opportunities to meet with actors on the digital technologies value chain. Registration is open until 19 June.
Energy Info Days 2017 - 23-25 October 2017, Brussels (Belgium). This year, the Energy Info Days will present the new funding opportunities and innovative schemes offered by the Horizon 2020 work programme 2018-2020.

Simpler rules from 1 June 2017 to provide more support for fruit and vegetable producers. European fruit and vegetable producer organisations will benefit from simpler rules, a reduced administrative burden and greater financial support from 1 June 2017.
Agriculture: the Europan Commission approves three new geographical indications from France and the United Kingdom. The European Commission has approved the addition of three new products from France and the United Kingdom to the quality register of Protected Geographical Indications (PGI).
European Commission welcomes adoption of new rules to block tax avoidance. Last week, EU member states adopted the new EU rules to prevent tax avoidance via non-EU countries. The rules will stop companies exploiting the mismatches between member states' and non-EU countries' tax systems to avoid tax payments.
Capital Markets Union: EU agrees to more support for venture capital and social enterprises. Small and growing companies and social enterprises will enjoy better access to finance thanks to EU rules agreed last week by the European Parliament, the Council and the Commission. The rules are part of the Commission's drive to stimulate venture capital investments in the EU.
Europe on the move: European Commission takes action for clean, competitive and connected mobility. The European Commission adopted actions to modernise European mobility and transport. The aim is to help the sector to remain competitive in a socially fair transition towards clean energy and digitalisation.
