General information

Short Summary
Portuguese Company is looking for commercial partners, installers and end customers in Spain, Saudi Arabia and the African Continent, in the field of sanitation, construction and rehabilitation of pumping stations through innovative solutions, for which it can act under commercial agreements.
Full Description
The Portuguese SME based in Mangualde focuses on water treatment (turnkey engineering), sanitation, construction and rehabilitation of pumping stations through innovative, durable and sustainable solutions that meet the needs of each client. The company is a distributor in Portugal, Spain, Saudi Arabia and the African Continent and is looking for business partners, installers and end users for whom it could act as a subcontractor under commercial agreement.

The PT SME represents the only patented in-line pumping system with direct connection to the effluent inlet. It is innovative, durable, highly sustainable and environmentally friendly, with a guaranteed return on investment thanks to savings in construction, energy and operation, and was recently recognised at SMAGUA 2025 in Zaragoza with the Technological Innovation Seal award.

By lifting the effluent by gravity directly from the inlet pipe, without being under load and without a retention well, the system allows you to overcome the inconveniences associated with retention volumes (it eliminates the decantation effect).

The operating costs of pumping stations can be reduced by up to 80%. The Direct In-Line Pumping System is composed of a stainless steel hydraulic body and two high efficiency IP67 motor blocks controlled by frequency inverters. It is designed to be installed in a dry well and coupled directly to the effluent as it arrives at the pumping station, allowing it to enter without turbulence and providing a more reliable level reading.

The design of this system allows the wastewater and air mixture to be absorbed at the outlet of the gravity outfall, giving it the necessary velocity to be sent to the discharge point.
In this way, the water/air mixture is pumped (without purging the equipment) in a proportion of approximately 90%/10% respectively, based on the Venturi system. This feature allows water hammer to be compensated for, thus avoiding the need to install equipment for this purpose.
It has automatic monitoring, allowing savings in time and money with optimized energy and operational efficiencies. With the help of artificial intelligence, frequency inverters do not need a PLC and manage their operation autonomously. An example of this is the automatic unclogging function (reversal of the direction of rotation) that the system enables by combining several factors that indicate a clogging situation, makes adjustments in real time to manage the flow, avoiding system failures and periods of inactivity, detects and eliminates obstructions without human intervention and with remote monitoring options.

With a wide range of solutions, it is a recommended system for industry, pumping stations and wastewater treatment plants, as well as hospitals, hotels, prisons, universities and waste complexes, and can be supplied in a fully stainless steel well, with a 25-year guarantee against corrosion, and delivered ready to install and connected quickly and easily. Since 2007, we have sold and installed more than 200 units in Portugal and on the African continent, particularly in the Ivory Coast, which allows us to have a team with a level of knowledge/know-how capable of providing solutions to the problems of those who seek us out, from renovations to new pumping stations.
Advantages and Innovations
In comparison with other products on the market, the Overwatch product allows the elevation of gravitational wastewater directly from the inlet pipe, in a closed circuit where there is no direct contact with the effluent, without the need for a retention well, well cleaning, minimising visits and operating and maintenance costs, reducing these costs by almost 80%. No emission of hazardous gases (H2S), no odours, no accumulation of sand and grease, no corrosion of equipment, no incrustation of buoys, no erosion of structures and no obstructions due to blockages. Minimises civil works and has lower costs, with installations that are easier to maintain. It has automatic monitoring, saving time and money with optimised energy and operational efficiency. Thanks to artificial intelligence, the variable speed drives do not require automation and manage their operation autonomously.
