One of the company's key initiatives, project – RECYCLING COUTURE, explores the creative potential of textile reuse by transforming discarded materials into expressive costume pieces. Through a process of meticulous collection, sorting, and recomposition of textile fragments, the project highlights the value of resource conservation and material appreciation. The the project incorporates a distinctive technical approach by applying a historical textile technique in a contemporary context. The method used is "nalebinding," an ancient looping technique that dates back to the Neolithic era. By employing this process, new textile surfaces were developed from fragmented materials. Nalebinding, which predates both knitting and crocheting, involves the use of a needle with an eye to repeatedly loop the thread through itself, resulting in a robust and flexible fabric structure.
The collection features several examples of this technique:
- BLOND, a corset top constructed from repurposed nylon stockings,
- WAID, a top with engageantes, assembled from white and blue gradient T-shirts and decorated with 300 Swarovski glass buttons,
- PECH, a jacket made from black T-shirts and wool.
The project RECYCLING COUTURE project was selected for the Berlin Salon 2025. It was also exhibited as part of the curated presentation Young Talents Old Masters at the Painting Galery in Berlin, which focuses on connecting emerging creative work with traditional craftsmanship.
