General information

Short Summary
Ukrainian company manufacturer of a wide range of composite products with production in Dnipro looking for distributors of construction materials in Europe for long-term cooperation with monthly supplies. Exclusive partnership can be discussed.
Full Description
When it comes to a choice of Composite vs. steel products, GFRP wins in many applications due to its superior thermal, corrosion, and chemical. The technology of its production is based on the use of 2 basic materials – glass fiber roving and epoxy resin.
The company’s production allows using thread thicknesses of 600 and 1200 tex of glass fiber roving. It helps to increase the impregnation of fiberglass with resins, which is the most important feature of the strength and weight of fiberglass products.
Also, fiberglass direct roving production was launched a few months ago. So, the company has a full cycle of production of composite products.

Products
1) Composite Rebar r⌀ 4-32mm (GFRP)
2) Composite Braided Mesh - ⌀ 2, 3, 4 (50*50, 100*100, 150*150, 200*200).
3) Glass fiber for concrete
4) GFRP bent elements
The main advantages are
1) Lifespan of over 80 year
2) 9 Times lighter than steel
3) 100 Adhesion to concrete

The company is looking for a partner for a long-term distribution agreement to the EU countries
Advantages and Innovations
The first advantage of composite products vs steel is its lightweight. Composite rebar weighs only ¼ of steel rebar of the equivalent size. Hence, the use of GFRP rebar lowers costs for shipping and installation.
One more factor is impact resistance. Under heavy working load GFRP won’t deform permanently because the polymer matrix intensified by resins is capable of distributing the impact load, preventing the surface from being damaged. In similar conditions, particularly in lower temperatures, steel products might be deformed.
Despite having a similarly wide range of applications, GFRP differs from steel in terms of electrical and thermal conductivity. Steel is a good conductor of electricity and heat, while GFRP has lower thermal conductivity and null electrical conductivity.
