General information
- Short Summary
- The French SME is offering electronic switching solutions shrinking size, reducing power consumption and improving the electrical performances of circuits relying on a disruptive technology : Power MEMS (Micro electro mechanical systems). For its growth the firm is willing to find industrial partners in the home automation, transportation, power management, aerospace and defence sectors ready to integrate its Power MEMS technology in their processes to co-develop their products.
- Full Description
-
The firm was created by two Doctors and a Professor of the laboratory in 2012 and has developed this MEMS technology after 11 years of R&D in a French laboratory in cooperation with the main French private and publics partners above all in the defence and aerospace sectors.
This 11-year R&D brought huge technological advances (7 patents) which were first dedicated to radio frequencies. Since 2022, the start-up has been developing new products for the low frequency power switches (electrical switches) in cooperation with the defence and aerospace sectors.
The firm is now willing to sell worldwide its breakthrough technology finding industrial partners in the following applications sectors: home automation, electrical and aerospace sectors. - Advantages and Innovations
-
The company has developed a new Power MEMS technology with the best performance in Europe. Their Power Mems are capable of withstanding 110Vdc/10A with a resistance of 10 mΩ.
Power MEMS represent the best compromise between semiconductor components and mechanical relays that perform the same function, because they offer the following advantages:
• Hermetic, so no risk of the pollution of the contacts
• High number of cycles,
• Lighter
• Less bulky,
• Easier to assembly,
• Lower contact resistance
• Contact resistance very stable in temperature
• Low heating without heat sink
• Insertion loss : < -0,05dB (DC-100MHz)
• Vibration and shocks resistance...
• Process similar to IC (Integrated Circuit) one (high volume, cost decrease as volume increase). - Technical Specification or Expertise Sought
-
Main Technical specifications:
• SPST (Single Pole Single Throw)
• Power switch (on/off)
• Direct Voltage (DC)
• Curent Rating (10A)
• Contact Resistance (10mΩ)
• Control Voltage (120V)
• Switching Mode (Cold Switching)
• Size (2.8mm x 3.8mm x 1mm 10.6mm ³) - Stage of Development
