- A Spanish organisation leading a core group with a defined Use Case looks for completing a Consortium (including a coordinator) aiming at topic HORIZON-CL1-2025-01-STAYHLTH-01: Improving the quality of life of persons with intellectual disabilities and their families. This core group is made of 2 intellectual disabilities associations and several technology partners providing wearable sensors, medical equipment, technologies to enhance autonomy, health monitoring software and UX health design.

The project is focused on human-centred health with long-term intellectual disabilities and their careers, seeking for innovative solutions in order to deliver medicines, diagnoses, treatments and protocols that can help in an early stage to prevent disability. A Spanish Industrial group of organisations led by a Basque corporation has been able to bring together several capacities that can help creating a local use case, which capacities are:
- One and/or two intellectual disabilities associations, one specialized in children.
- Wearable sensors to monitor vital signs.
- Telemedicine platform managing medication, monitoring health state, vital signs, pathology analysis, communication with carers and medical centres, etc.
- Home and health centres automation to improve the quality of life of people with mental disabilities and their caregivers (access control, improved mobility, smart kitchens, air quality, infrared focused heating systems).
- Technology for pathology detection and monitoring to improve and reduce the worsening of disability.
- UX health design. - Advantages and Innovations
- The scope of the call focuses on improving the quality of life of persons with intellectual disabilities and their families and to reduce to the maximum the negative impact of the disability in their daily lives from diverse perspectives.
