General information

Short Summary
A French company is seeking partners for its ultrasonic battery monitoring and diagnostic technology (SoC, SoS, SoH). This innovative and patented solution enables precise and reliable measurement of battery state of charge (State of Charge), early degassing detection (State of Security), and faster lithium concentration diagnostics for recycling (State of Health).
Full Description
The French company is part of a leading group in its market, comprising multiple high-tech enterprises with strong scientific expertise. This ecosystem fosters its development and innovation capabilities.

It specializes in energy-related innovation through two key activities: an engineering office and an R&D laboratory dedicated to wireless charging and battery health monitoring via ultrasound.

The company is actively seeking partners to strengthen this solution (R&D, testing, and validation) and integrates it as a license, for large-scale deployment in France and Europe.
Advantages and Innovations
Its patented 2024 innovation enables ultrasonic diagnostics of electric vehicle battery health. The solution is based on ultrasonic transducers (a transmitter and a receiver) placed on a battery cell, allowing:

• Accurate and reliable measurement of the charge level of LFP batteries, which are often difficult to assess using current techniques.

• Early detection of native degassing, at least 20 minutes before thermal runaway or fire risk.

• Improved reliability and faster diagnostic processes for battery recycling by assessing the concentration of active lithium.
