General information

Short Summary
A Turkish consortium is looking for partners to join them in their proposal for Interreg Call.
Full Description
Interreg NEXT MED is a European Union (EU) funded Programme that supports transnational cooperation projects aiming at enhancing the Mediterranean region’s environment and communities. The second call for proposals focuses on 4 priorities and 9 specific objectives.

A Turkish consortium consisting of a chamber, a university, and a private company is developing a proposal for the next Interreg NEXT MED call.

This project proposes a Scalable and Inclusive Out-of-School Learning Model, designed to enhance green economy skills, circular economy awareness, and sustainable development practices across the Mediterranean. The project integrates digital learning, hands-on training, and transnational cooperation, ensuring methodologies and tools are co-developed, tested, and scaled up across different partner countries.
A digital learning platform will be developed to support children, university students, NEET individuals, and disadvantaged youth, providing interactive, gamified content on green skills and sustainable development. Educators and mentors will receive training on green and digital literacy, ensuring learning outcomes align with the emerging labor market and educational needs.
To bridge the gap between education and employment, the project will establish internships, mentorships, and apprenticeship programs in collaboration with private sector partners. Additionally, mobility programs will allow young learners to engage in cross-border exchanges, enhancing their skills and employability.
By fostering strong transnational collaboration and policy integration, the project will contribute to a sustainable and inclusive education model that supports the green transition and economic resilience across the Mediterranean.
