General information
- Short Summary
- Spanish shipyard with extensive experience in manufacturing processes using composites, including recycled or innovative materials such as biocomposites and circular solutions offers applied know-how in real production environments to validate new technologies, manufacture prototypes or components, and collaborate both in research projects and industrial developments within the marine sector. The company is looking for manufacturing and research cooperation agreements
- Full Description
-
The company is a shipyard with over 20 years of experience, located in the northwest of Spain, specialised in the custom manufacturing of vessels using composite materials. In recent years, it has strengthened its position in the application of sustainable solutions within the marine sector, incorporating innovative materials such as natural fibres, bio-based resins, and recycled composites into its production processes.
Through its involvement in European innovation projects and its technical expertise, the company has gained solid experience in processes such as vacuum infusion, customised moulding, and the manufacturing of components using biocomposites. Its facilities allow the construction of recreational boats and professional vessels of up to 18 metres, as well as the production of individual parts tailored to third-party designs.
The company provides high added value as a validation partner for new solutions in the marine sector,
contributing to the industrial scaling of materials and processes that need to be tested in real production environments. In addition, it offers manufacturing capacity for third parties looking to integrate sustainable materials into their products.
The shipyard aims to expand its international network through technological or industrial cooperation
agreements, as well as to participate in new innovation projects as a validation partner (end user) in the marine sector - Advantages and Innovations
-
The shipyard’s main advantage lies in its ability to apply and validate innovative materials under real
manufacturing conditions—an essential step for developing market-ready solutions. Unlike purely experimental environments, the company operates with industrial processes, real-world timelines, and technical requirements specific to the marine sector.
Its experience with biocomposites, recycled materials, and vacuum infusion techniques enables it to identify technical challenges, optimise processes, and provide practical, production-oriented improvements. This makes it a strategic partner for projects aiming to scale sustainable solutions for real-world applications.
In addition, the shipyard offers professional manufacturing capabilities to develop functional prototypes or short production runs, integrating sustainable materials into high-performance products - Stage of Development
