The Austrian start-up was incorporated in 2022 and emerged out of R&D projects with national and international industrial partners. These partners include well-renowned companies like Airbus and Ariane Space. With this new product, the company offers the highest standards and innovations in the area of asset localization and tracking. Their products deliver high-precision and 3D localization for indoor as well as outdoor areas. All devices are delivered fully preconfigured, battery-powered, and ready to go. The convenient admin app guides the customer through the deployment process to minimize the installation efforts. All of the devices autonomously detect themselves, form networks, and distribute their resources efficiently to optimize performance.
The performance of the company’s ultra-wideband (UWB) localization is further enhanced through sophisticated sensor fusions that enable high data rates and resiliency against interferences. This enables a complex fusion of UWB distance measurements with data of temperature, acceleration, gyroscope, and magnetometer sensors. The resulting localization features improved accuracy without negatively affecting the system’s latency.
The centimeter precision ensures reliable positioning and tracking even in harsh industrial environments. The product offers real-time measurements with a scalable localization solution that enables latencies of 1-2ms per asset, as well as precise 3D localization for indoor and outdoor environments with large coverage areas. The company’s trade secrets and proprietary algorithms are protected with 14 patent claims within the European Union.
The small and lightweight device with dimensions of 3cm *2cm *1cm can be used for tracking and motion analysis, navigation and path planning, and precise indoor and outdoor localization. This technology is currently utilized for gateless entrance control, user guidance over Augmented Reality (AR), and search-and-rescue operations with drones.
Compared to competitors in the industry, the innovative technology offers 40 times higher precision, with only 0,3 cm deviation, and 60 times faster asset localization, with a duration of only 0,14 seconds per asset. Due to the unique calibration method, hardware tolerances can be accounted for to improve the robustness and accuracy of the solution. This also allows the utilization of cost-effective off-the-shelf components rather than expensive customized hardware.
