General information
- Short Summary
- A Turkish R&D company specializing in molecular biology is looking for global partners to collaborate on a Eurostars project focused on enhancing and commercializing Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP)-based diagnostic kits for detecting common foodborne pathogens such as E. coli O157:H7, Listeria monocytogenes, and Salmonella.
- Full Description
-
The company was established in 2006 in Ankara, Turkey, and specialised in conducting research projects and serving as a research hub, supporting customer projects with the company's R&D capabilities.
The company operates its own R&D molecular biology laboratory for both its research projects and marketing of innovative consumables and equipment for molecular biology fields. They are looking for global partners to develop novel, fast diagnostic kits based on molecular biology techniques.
Actively involved in molecular diagnostics kits, particularly is focused on pathogen detection through molecular methods. They have successfully completed several government third-party funded projects with their expertise in polymerase chain reaction (PCR), Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) assays and sequencing techniques.
The company is specialized in the development, production, and marketing of high-quality molecular biology solutions including:
● Producing molecular diagnostic kits for real time PCR and LAMP methods
● Expertise in primer and probe assay design for PCR/LAMP
● Offering complete systems and equipment for molecular diagnostics
● Conducting R&D projects in pathogen detection and genetic analysis have been developed and verified E. coli O157H7, Salmonella spp, Listeria monocytogenes qPCR and LAMP based kits.
● Expanding its product and service lines in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), including DNA and RNA-based diagnostic systems
Areas of interest for collaboration include, advanced PCR techniques, LAMP (isothermal amplification), Real time PCR, Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) platforms used for amplicon sequencing and whole genome sequencing approaches.
In response to the growing demand for simpler, more efficient solutions from the food health professionals, the company has developed diagnostic kits based on molecular biology techniques. The project is aiming development of fast, cost-effective, and correct detection kits will enable the industry for rapid interventions in the food supply chain utilizing LAMP and NGS techniques. - Advantages and Innovations
-
LAMP is one of the most commonly used methods based on nucleic acid amplification tests. The goal of the project is to design LAMP kits for rapid results with minimal user involvement. This method provides rapid, accurate and sensitive results that is the most competitive advantage of the products offered. The company is especially looking forward to joining an Eurostars consortium under a research and development agreement.
● They provide R&D expertise in planning and execution of diagnostic kits for detection of food borne projects.
● They are experienced in primer and probe assay design for PCR/LAMP methods.
● The output of the project will be a cost-effective completely efficient test instrument, a compatible test kit, and related software for the product.
● Their knowledge also includes the NGS sequencing of DNA on an Illumina, as well as Oxford Nanopore sequencing platforms.
● With a strong foundation in molecular biology and biotechnology, looking forward to driving innovation and seeking strategic collaborations to advance molecular diagnostics and biotechnology solutions worldwide.
● The Turkish company is seeking research and development cooperation agreements to enhance its expertise and expand into new diagnostic products and applications. - Stage of Development
