General information

Short Summary
A multinational SME headquartered in England offers a range of hardware and software solutions that connect vehicles (35 million currently), various devices and central control systems. They seek Tier 1 infotainment, connected vehicle manufacturers and value-added resellers to assist them in market and service development. Type of agreement: commercial with technical assistance.
Full Description
Connectivity is higher than ever on the automotive agenda, with the in-vehicle experience being a key product differentiator in an increasingly electrified world.
Arguably, there will soon be business cases for connecting vehicles in practically all commercial environments. First responders are already implementing this technology, using it to connect the crew’s phones and other mission critical devices in a safe and secure way. Connections can also be made between the vehicle and the dispatch, allowing for a dynamic control and real-time sharing of information.
There are a number of other sectors which can benefit from vehicle connectivity technology. Logistics fleets such as delivery and taxi services can run more efficient and economical fleets with features such as predictive maintenance and third-party app integration. While industrial fleets can be made safer with the ability to remotely control and monitor working vehicles.
Vehicle connectivity is technically challenging due to a large number of combinations of silicon, operation systems and software protocols. Working in close partnership with most silicon vendors the software is available pre-integrated, already highly optimised for their chipsets, and fully certified to the relevant standards. The company provides unparalleled support for any combination of silicon, platform and operating system.
The company wishes to support Automakers, Tier 1 suppliers of infotainment and value-added resellers. They offer their expertise and technology to support the development of new products or services so they go out market-ready. The preferred type of agreement is commercial agreements with technical assistance.
Advantages and Innovations
The company has leading capabilities in integrating a large number of silicon, operating systems and software specifically targeted at communications and infotainment within the automotive industry.
